Need an Official Docket or Record?
Trumbull County court custodians are divided by court and division. The primary contact for Common Pleas General Division, Domestic Relations, and Trumbull-originated appellate filings is the Trumbull County Clerk of Courts, 161 High Street N.W., Warren, OH 44481, (330) 675-2557. The Clerk's Civil Division publishes weekday hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Common Pleas or Domestic docket information: use the Clerk's public terminal or Public Access Records Search; the Clerk terminal accepts a party name or case number.
- A court date or hearing: use the assigned court's case record, citation, or direct clerk confirmation. A court schedule explains the local access routes.
- Certified copies or filed documents: request the specific item from the clerk or court that holds the file. See Court Case Records for the published Clerk fees.
- Probate material: use the Probate Division's own public-records request form.
- Juvenile or Family Court matter: contact Family Court, because Juvenile and Domestic Relations have distinct custodial channels and access limits.
- Central, Eastern, municipal, or mayor's-court case: contact the court with territorial jurisdiction; its clerk keeps the court-level file and record-search route.
The Clerk is not the custodian for every county court record. Probate, Juvenile, Central District, Eastern District, Warren Municipal, Niles Municipal, Girard Municipal, Newton Falls Municipal, and mayor's courts maintain their own court-level records. If a citation or notice names one of those courts, use that named court's clerk rather than asking the Common Pleas Clerk to produce a record it does not keep.
